Beautiful Vista City Garden

My first upload to this site!  XD  Although not in real life, in The Sims 3 I'm obsessed with gardening.  In fact, I think that's my biggest gripe with Late Night -- nowhere to plant seeds.  So, unless and until EA or some clever modder comes up with something akin to the hydroponics lab in The Sims 2, we're stuck either planting a little garden around the exterior of the building (which just looks tacky and is very inconvenient) or getting all our Sims' produce from the grocery store.

No longer!  Because now your town has the Beautiful Vista City Garden!

This community-type garden has every single plant available in the game -- including eggplants, cheeseplants, steakplants, and pattyplants, not to mention life fruit plants and flame fruit plants, etc -- and all are perfect quality.  It even has the new plasma fruit plant that came with Late Night, so your vampy Sims can enjoy it, too!

It also has a little BBQ area, two private bathrooms (each including a shower), and two chess tables.  And the game recognizes these -- my game had this lot host a Chess Tournament.

But that's not all!  I know that not all of you have all the expansion packs, so this lot comes in a few different flavors: WA+LN, WA only, LN only, and base game.  The "LN only" and "base game" versions obviously had a lot of space left over, after I took out all those grape varieties, so I made a little playground area for the kiddies to enjoy.  Please note that it only comes in those two lots.

The Start of Something Wonderful

So.  I've finally done it.  I've been creating content for the Sims games since the suffix after the name was a "1", not a "3".  I've uploaded my content here and there, and even had a cheapie Angelfire account back in the day.  (You know, the day when Angelfire accounts were actually cool?)  But Angelfire doesn't count.  So I've officially never had my own little spot on the web for my created content to call home.

That's changed now.  Welcome to "Sweet Hijinks at Waylon's Haunt", or just "Sweet Hijinks" for short.  If you don't get the name, go play The Sims 3.  Specifically, make sure you have Late Night installed, and are playing in the town of Bridgeport.

I cannot promise to update every day.  I cannot promise to update every week, or even on a regular basis.  My interest in things (even fun things, like The Sims 3) waxes and wanes in a pretty unpredictable way.  What I can promise, however, is that anything I give you is high-quality, thoroughly play-tested (most of the time by multiple players), and the very best that I can make it.
